TUWFC have a number of pre-season friendlies lined up, as they prepare for their upcoming campaign in the Women’s National League South West.
United’s Women’s team made history last season, by securing the South West Women’s Football League Premier title for the first time in their history. Having only lost once throughout the campaign, victory on the final day of the season against Royal Wootton Bassett saw the side lift the trophy, and with that, gain promotion into the Women’s National League South West.
With TUWFC Manager Steve Elswood retaining the services of the squad that earned promotion last time out, all focus is now on preparing for the 2023/24 season in the Women’s National League South West, with TUWFC set to line up in a number of pre-season friendlies in the weeks building up to the forthcoming campaign.
United Women’s pre-season begins with a home fixture against newly-promoted Cardiff City Ladies FC on Sunday 16th July, with the venue to be confirmed in due course, before one week later on Sunday 23rd July, Elswood’s side take on Marine Academy Plymouth Ladies FC at Devon FA, Coach Road, Newton Abbot.
The team is then due to hit the road with an away fixture at Pucklechurch Sports Ladies on Sunday 30th July, before Sunday 6th August will see TUWFC host Saltash United Women at Liverton FC.
