Kevin Wills’ Under-18s maintained their 100% league record with another confident showing on Saturday morning, as they ran out 4-0 winners over Wimborne.

Torquay were in charge almost from the first whistle, with Harvey Coggins opening the scoring from a well-worked corner.

The lead was then doubled in some style, as Will Brennan fired home from distance to make it 2-0.

The advantage was stretched even further before the break, with a slick passing moving receiving the finishing touch it deserved, as Tom Chastey slotted home to make it 3-0 at the change of ends.

Although the second-period was a more closely-fought affair, there was further reward for an excellent display on the road before the full-time whistle, as Will Brennan netted his second and his side’s fourth, as The Young Gulls continue to apply the pressure on South West Counties Youth League leaders Bridgwater, who also boast a maximum-point haul.

FA Youth Cup Venue Switch

Following the postponement of United’s home clash with Reading City last week, the venue of this tie has now been switched and will be played at Reading’s Rivermoor Stadium (RG30 6AY) on Thursday 26th October instead.
