All at Torquay United are saddened to hear of the passing of three beloved members of the Yellow Army – Ray Tabb , Roger Mann and Pam Lloyd.

Ray Tabb will no doubt be a familiar face to anyone that has attended matches at Plainmoor over a number of decades, with Ray going on to pass his love of the Club to another well-known supporter – his son, Nigel. Both regularly attended United’s Retro Gulls events, where Ray’s passion, and memories, for TUAFC were there for all to see.

Roger Mann was not only an ardent Torquay United supporter, but was a well-known figure in sporting circles throughout Torbay. An established businessman as well as a proficient local footballer and cricketer, Roger continued to share his observations of the local sporting scene with readers of the Torbay Weekly up until his passing.

Pam Lloyd was another massive supporter of Torquay United AFC, who was often seen at Plainmoor attending matches with her husband Peter. Pam and Peter would go on to share their love of the Club to their family, having introduced not only their children, but also their grandchildren, to their Yellow Army family as well.

Three devoted supporters, and lovely people, who will be much missed.

The Club’s thoughts and prayers are with their families and friends at this sad time.
