Thursday 23rd March sees England look to put the disappointment of the Qatar World Cup behind them, as they start their Euro 2024 Qualifying campaign against Italy, the holders of the trophy, and the team they faced at that Euro 2020 final when they lost on penalties. Gareth’s Southgate’s side will be looking to get off to the best possible start in a country where they haven’t won in over 60 years, and with both teams favourites to qualify from this Group, the match is sure to be a tough test for both sides, with the action beginning in Naples at 19:45.
