Torquay United’s Under 18 side secured another fine victory on Saturday to go level at the top of the South West Counties Youth League.

Despite leading scorer Olaf Koszela being away on first team duty, goals were not in short supply as United beat their Salisbury FC counterparts 5-1.

Goals from Jacob Evans, Ryan Keates, Ewan Howarth and a brace from substitute Josh Parry saw the young Gulls move level on points at the top, where they only sit behind Bristol Academy on goal difference.

Next Saturday they travel to Team BTC, as they look to maintain their 100% league record.

Team: Baxter, Howarth, Hurren, Jeffery, Keates, Long, MacNeill, Selley, Slough, Bosworth, Evans. Subs: Edmunson, Parry, Price

Meanwhile, in our Junior Premier League fixtures, both our U12 and U16 sides travelled to RTC South Somerset in the West South Division.

Our U12s gained a 2-0 victory, whilst our U16s lost out by the odd goal in five, going down 3-2.
