Mark Halstead has received recognition for his outstanding form during August, with the Yellow Army voting him as the Club’s BVEC Player of the Month.
Having been outstanding between the sticks throughout the whole of last term, Halstead has continued in the same vein this season, and can now add the August 2023 trophy to the one he earned during the opening month of the 2022/23 campaign.
“I think playing consistently well will endear you to supporters, and it’s nice to be recognised,” said Mark upon being presented with his award by Simon Veasey of BVEC.
“Obviously we won four in a row, which is always positive. I’ve been called on to do my job a bit more than I hoped, but thankfully I’ve done it, and hopefully we can continue the form.”
