We’re looking for outgoing & enthusiastic individuals to become part of our Gilbert The Gull team!
Gilbert has been a prominent figure on matchdays at Plainmoor for many years now, however with the clamour for his presence at various locations across the local community growing all the time, we’re now looking for more individuals to help United’s Club Mascot fulfil all his commitments by donning the famous costume and become Torbay’s best-known seagull!
Working as part of a small team on home matchdays and at local events throughout the year, anyone interested will need to be flexible and committed in order to bring Gilbert The Gull to life to hundreds of excited youngsters all across our local community.
Whether he’s at Plainmoor before a big cup-tie, or attending one of the Club’s Community Fun Days outside the stadium, Gilbert’s primary role is to be a prominent figure at events – interacting, entertaining and welcoming young children & guests, whilst remaining a superb ambassador for Torquay United AFC!
Please Note: Applicants will be required to complete a suitable DBS check prior to fulfilling any Club duties.
