The Club would like to thank supporters for their amazing response so far and also issue a reminder that raffle tickets are available until 4pm next Thursday (30th).
Torquay United AFC recently launched a raffle for a signed home shirt to raise money for the specialist heart ward of Bristol Royal Children’s Hospital, which has supported United fan Jamie Cole’s young daughter Layla-Rose in recent months.
Supporter Jamie Cole is an avid supporter of the Club and the brave story of his daughter Layla-Rose has captured the eye and hearts of the public as well as the Club.
United manager Gary Johnson was amongst the first to send his best wishes to the family and the Club is proud to play a part in raising funds for such a worthy cause.
Layla-Rose has spent much of her life so far on the Dolphin Ward of Bristol Royal Children’s Hospital which is the hospital’s specialist heart ward, where she has been diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot.
Tickets are priced at £2 a ticket with all proceeds going to Bristol Royal Children’s Hospital, with the draw closing at 4pm on Thursday, 30th September 2021.
