After receiving a fantastic response to out VIP Packages Initiative last season, the Club is pleased to announce that this exciting new initiative will be looking to go from strength to strength again next season.

Following the launch of the VIP Packages Initiative last November, 25 people were lucky enough to be invited to attend their first ever game here at Plainmoor, while also being able to spend their Gift Voucher, which they received as part of the package. Prior to the game, the guests were able to come for a tour of the ground a few days beforehand as well as taking part in activities laid on by the Club.

About the VIP Packages Initiative

Up to 60 children with autism and other learning difficulties will be invited to experience live football at Torquay United as part of this popular venture, the Club will also be providing tours of the stadium to the children ahead of each match, enabling them to meet members of the Club’s footballing & off-field team, whilst familiarising themselves with their surroundings prior to the matchday.

Following the tour, the children will then have access to a reserved room specially set aside for them to take part in structured activities, including art, crafts and games.

The day of the game itself will see our VIPs welcomed to Plainmoor as guests of the Club to enjoy the thrills and spills that only live sport can provide, as well as giving them a unique opportunity to build a lifelong passion for TUAFC.

In addition to this, children will also be given a Gift Voucher to spend in either the Club Shop or the Food Kiosk, to make the day even more memorable!

TUAFC is proud to be recognised as an all-inclusive, family-orientated Club, with this link-up again seeing the Club play an active and supportive role at the very heart of the Torbay community. Torquay United AFC would like to take the opportunity to thank the Torquay United Supporters Trust (TUST) for assisting with this community initiative, and also to Play Torbay for their help & input with the launch.

Further information will be available for the 2023/24 season after the release of the new fixtures, when dates will be made available for applications to be made.

Further useful information can be found via our Disabled Supporter Policy HERE, whilst any supporters who have any queries relating to visiting Plainmoor can contact the Club’s Disability Liaison Offer Jo Harris by emailing [email protected].
