All members of the ‘Footballing Family’ are warmly welcome to attend Boots & Laces on Friday evening, where a very special family auction will be taking place from 7pm.
Tonight will see this fundraising event hosted at the home of Torquay United AFC in order to raise funds for the family of Jordan Wyatt.
With Jordan’s sister Danni (TUWFC captain & TUAFC #HerGameToo Ambassador) and father Alan (TUWFC Head Coach) both hugely popular figures within the Torquay United family, it was with deep sadness that the Club learned of Jordan passing recently.
Although our sympathies are extended to all of Jordan’s family and friends, the Club’s thoughts are particularly with his two young children at this very sad and difficult time.
With a number of items of interest going up for grabs tonight, and after consultation with the Wyatt family, it has therefore been decided that all monies raised at this event will go directly towards safeguarding their future, with the funds paid into a Trust, from which they can both benefit.
Torquay United AFC is extremely grateful to all the Football Clubs, local companies and individuals that have already made kind donations to the Club in order to support this event.
