With the hours now ticking down before 2022/23 gets underway, Gulls boss Gary Johnson is looking forward to beginning the new campaign in front of the Yellow Army at Plainmoor.

The visit of Oldham Athletic – the first former Premier League club to drop into National League football – adds another level of prestige to the new season, as United’s new look squad set their sights on getting up and running in front of the devoted home support tomorrow.

Now that the close season has run its course, Gary and his players clearly can’t wait to get started, with the Gaffer having the following message for the club’s fanbase attending tomorrow.

“We’re ready, we’re primed,” began Johnson.

“We’re so much looking forward to the game, but also we’re very much looking forward to putting on a big performance for our loyal, supportive fans.

“We know you’ll be there, we know you’ll give us everything, and I’ll do my best to make sure that the boys give you everything back.

“Enjoy the game, and get behind the lads, because it will make the difference.”

With the man himself emphasising how much impact a raucous Yellow Army can have on proceedings, there’s only one place to be at 3pm tomorrow!

Details regarding tomorrow’s match, including ticketing information can be found here, whilst supporters unable to attend the match in person can keep up to date on proceedings with full live commentary provided by TUFC Radio from 2.50pm here.

See you there!
